Straightforward terms
Use Yurlie freely. Don't abuse it. Verify critical outputs independently. That's the short version and the rest is legal detail.
1. Acceptance
By accessing or using Yurlie ("Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you're using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.
If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
2. Who can use Yurlie
The Service is available to anyone aged 13 or older (16 in the EU). No registration is required to use the free browser-side tools. An account is required to use the API or paid features.
3. Free tier and fair use
Browser-side tools are free with no rate limit and computation happens on your device. API access is subject to rate limits defined on the Pricing page.
"Fair use" means using the Service as intended. Automated scraping of the web UI, deliberate circumvention of rate limits, or actions that degrade the service for other users are not permitted.
4. Prohibited uses
You may not use Yurlie to:
- Violate any applicable law or regulation
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
- Resell or sublicense API access without written permission
- Use automated tools to bypass rate limits or access controls
- Process data in ways that violate third-party rights or applicable privacy laws
5. Accuracy of tool outputs
Tools are provided for informational and development purposes. Do not rely solely on Yurlie outputs for critical infrastructure decisions, security configurations, or legal/financial calculations. Verify important results with a primary reference.
6. Accounts
You're responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Notify us immediately at hello@yurlie.com if you believe your account has been compromised.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that are inactive for an extended period (we'll give notice before terminating paid accounts).
7. Paid plans
Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. Prices are listed on the Pricing page. You can cancel at any time, your plan remains active until the end of the billing period.
We don't offer refunds for partial months. If we discontinue a paid feature you subscribed for, we'll provide a prorated refund.
8. Intellectual property
Yurlie and its content, features, and functionality are owned by Yurlie and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You retain full ownership of any data you input into the tools.
You may not copy, modify, or distribute the Service's source code or UI without permission.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
We don't guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that results will be accurate. We will, however, work quickly to fix bugs when reported.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Yurlie shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the preceding 12 months, or USD $10, whichever is greater.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll update the "last updated" date and, for material changes, notify users with accounts by email at least 14 days in advance. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Yurlie operates, without regard to conflict of law principles. Disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first; if that fails, through binding arbitration.
